§ 157.004. PREFERENCE TOWARD VOLUNTARY OR AMENABLE ANNEXATIONS.

The city seeks to implement annexation action under the most amenable conditions possible. Therefore, in cases where it is practical to achieve consensus in favor of annexation, the city would expect to demonstrate a preference toward such consensus in those cases where an annexation action can be implemented under the "voluntary" provisions of IC 36-4-3-5.
