§ 90.03. IMPOUNDING ROAMING DOGS; REDEMPTION.

It shall be the duty of the Animal Control Officer to take into custody any and all unlicensed dogs found running at large in the city, and to attempt to locate the owner(s) of the dogs. If an owner cannot be located, or a suitable home cannot be found, for a dog within the time limits established elsewhere in this chapter, then the Animal Control Officer shall to humanely destroy all dogs for which an owner and a home has not been found.
