§ 34.04. CITY JUDGE; ELECTION; SALARY.

  • (A) There is created the office of City Judge for the city until at least December 31, 1983.
    (B) The City Judge shall be elected each year when city elections are held, in accordance with the provisions of law now or hereafter in effect, for a term as provided by law, and the judge shall exercise the powers and duties of the office as provided for by law.
    (C) The salary for City Judge shall be as set, from time to time, by legislative authority.
